Founded in 2011 by architect Louise Turley, FT Architects was established to bring her extensive experience to the thoughtful transformation of existing buildings across London.  A chartered member of the RIBA since 1999, Louise is known for her calm professionalism, creative insight, and meticulous attention to detail.

Based in King’s Cross, FT Architects is a close-knit, dedicated team specialising in the reimagining of complex or historic properties — often within Listed buildings, Conservation Areas, and the Great Estates.

We are space-makers, skilled at unlocking potential through excavation, extension, conversion, or the sensitive reconfiguration of existing layouts.

Our work combines the restoration of historic character with contemporary craftsmanship, creating timeless, balanced spaces that are both contextually sympathetic and a pleasure to inhabit.

The name FT is a quiet nod to Louise’s family name — a tribute to her grandmother, Florence Turley, whose eye for beauty and character continue to inspire the studio’s approach.
